Maa kamathi kridawa sinhala essay
My favorite sport is football. I like this game because it is a fast paced game. It is played carefully by twenty people in two teams.
In this sport, a round, leather-covered, air-filled, rubber ball is used to strike using only the words and the head. The game is usually played on a special playground about 115 yards long and 75 yards wide. The bowling alley on the football field is covered by an 8-foot-wide, 8-foot-high cross iron pole.
When I was 14 I was fascinated by this sport. I played on the school under-16 football team. The game runs for about an hour. Gradually joined the school’s under-19 team. After I was selected for the district football team, my interest in the sport increased a lot. I started practicing every morning and evening. 2003 was the happiest year of my life. That was the year I was selected for the Sri Lankan youth football team. I had the opportunity to participate in the 5th Asian Youth Football Championship held in Pahang, Malaysia.
My location was the left outer lane. It gave me the opportunity to score. I wish we could win football as much as we have won international wins apart from cricket.
