A train ride-(දුම්රියෙන් ගිය ගමනක්)

Dumriyen giya gamanak sinhala essay

Dumriyen giya gamanak sinhala essay

My family spends most of the year in Colombo. But every year, during the hottest part of the year, we go to the mountains and spend time there.

We boarded the morning train with snacks and a large bottle of water to quench our thirst. We had our breakfast before arriving at the Polgahawela railway station. There was nothing new to see on this annual trip. As we approached the mountains in the morning, the weather became cooler. But in the afternoon, it was a bit warmer. We used to buy peas and other sweets along the way.

The most beautiful hope of our trip was the views of the tea estates and the lush green paddy fields. After reaching our destination Kandy, we got off the train. We tried to find a three-wheeler with our luggage to go to town. After getting on the three-wheeler, we walked with a sense of pride, looking at the beautiful buildings around us. After arriving in the city as children we felt like we had arrived in a new world. The city traveled all the way around the mountains. We also did not forget to taste a cup of delicious mountain tea during our stay there.
